Optical Extinction Maps

Optical Extinction Maps with IRAC Observations

Blue squares represent the IRAC 3.6 and 5.8 micron bands. Purple squares are the 4.5 and 8.0 micron bands. The overlays show the orientation of the map on April 1, 2004. Due to Cham II's quick rotation in PA, the area covered in these images may not be exactly what is observed by SIRTF.

Optical Extinction Maps with MIPS Observations

MIPS 24, 70, and 160 micron observations are represented by blue, pink, and green boxes. The overlays show the orientation of the map on April 10, 2004. Due to Cham II's quick rotation in PA, the area covered in these images may not be exactly what is observed by SIRTF.
